Great service and the smoked wings were the best!

Classic rural tavern with music, food and spirits. The open mic on Thursday nights is always a good time. The ultimate nachos are perfect! Bonus, they have a pool table and arcade games, plus a dance floor.

Dancing to the Friday and Saturday evening live country music is a lot of fun. We try to go there several times a month. Sometimes we eat dinner there, but the food is variable. If you like to dance or just listen to music, this is the place. There's quite a range of guests, from families with children on up, but the audience is generally more old than young.

Went for "Wing Night" on Tuesday. At one time, it was a bargain to get wings here on Wing Night, I remember. 45 per wing. Not so much anymore. Now, at 85 cents per wing, one would save about 8 cents per wing from regular menu prices. With that in mind, it doesn't matter what day you go if you want wings at the Hayloft. As far as wings go, they're about average. Some of my friends claim they are the best, not so much for me. Maybe the smoked wings, but we weren't offered that option when we ordered. Based on the difference in what I remember for wing night pricing, it's been a while since I've been there for wings. Doubt I'll make a special trip for wings again. Burritos and nachos have always been good at the Hayloft, perhaps I'll order those on a future visit. I was just disappointed that the wings weren't much of a special anymore.

Fun place to bring your family. The have a small arcade room including a pool table and also, have a local country band every weekend.Food is good.

Great time. Waitress was absolutely wonderful. She made our time there fun.

Local bar & grill on M72 on your way to & from the dunes. Serve Mexican food which I found needed more flavor.

The food here is reasonable. The service was good on this day. The condition of the place is not. There's a thick layer of dust on all the the old fashioned items they have hanging. I can see why they keep the lights on dim. It's very grimy. The middle stall toilet in the woman's room does not flush unless you continue to hold the lever down. The establishment also lacks in a/c in the summer and heat in the winter.

Love this place!! Live music is awesome listen to the cow puppies! They were great. Very home feel bar! Waitress was excellent. Very nice place

Staff is very friendly and knows us by name, extremely good food, and wonderful live music (my father's band) to enjoy. Been going here for a long time and will continue to do so. I would recommend anyone who's in the area to come and see for themselves how great of a place it is.

I mean it looked good, the environment was cool but there was like 2 people working and we didnt even get greeted after like 10 minutes. just maybe need more staff, or more friendly staff.

Only one server on taco night ( not her fault). It took us 2 hours to get tacos for 10 of us. Tacos were " just ok"

Live music is entertaining. Got horrible cholitis last time I ate there. Maybe a coinsidence...maybe food. Staff look like they haven't showered for days and haven't chanched clothes in a while.

Its a typical village bar, great food and nice drinks. The most highlight is the ambiance. Its speaks so much history about the place.

Loved it! Great service, cozy warm atmosphere near the wood stove. We came for the smelt dinner. Hard to find. My husband loved it. I had an excellent taco salad. Huge portions.

Great band on Saturday

We stopped here on a day trip. The food is amazing and I can't wait for a trip back north so I can stop in again.

Food was mediocre at best but the band Cowpuppies was great and line dancing on froday night was a lot of fun.

So the food is your run of the mill 90's Tex-Mex. In the way Spam and canned corned beef hash are part of our collective past so is this style of Wet Burrito, Taco Salad. It all basically tastes the same. The burgers are good, old school bar burger. The menu could use a little updating but I'm sure the margins are better on beer. The place has a great country line dancing group and the music is that Tex-Arkana style. Pool tables and friendly staff top it off. It's a great spot for a beer and throw back to a Norhern Michigan "Roadhouse" from a bygone era.

Nice place. The people seem nice! I guess they are changing Management. But the current owner was a vary nice host. But vary over worked😞. But I'll be back.

We were told there was a juke box......so we decided to enjoy a little 'day drinking' and some favorite tones.....bar maid said ok, not friendly, uninviting, unsociable.....had no idea WiFi was offered........extremely poor selection of beer........half nacho was ok.....will we go back......mmmm......NO

Came here for a quick drink ended up staying for a few. Real hometown feel. The mixed drinks are very weak. Only reason we stayed as long as we did was beacuse of The band cow puppies they were old school and awesome!

Good people and food, I try to go off peak times, if it's busy things can back up.The wing deal on Tuesday is worth a visit I think.

Good bar food! Always a favorite stop for us on our way back from skiing.
